Start off with getting a box of fruit roll ups. These are very inexpensive, about 3 dollars a box. I recommend getting only red because we made the mistake of getting the variety pack.
Unwrap all of the fruit roll ups and get them all together.
Put fruit roll ups in a bowl and place in microwave for 10 seconds. This will make it easy to squish them up. Once they are a little melted, put them on a flat surface and flatten them out to be completely flat. You don't want it too thin or it will be hard to make the fortunes.
Once you have the blob of fruit roll up flattened out, grab a cup of your choice and make circle cutouts.
Fold a circle cutout in half. Do it lightly, not completely shut.
Lightly grab the top of the circular half with two fingers and using your other hand, push the middle of the straight side.
Pull the sides down to create a fortune cookie shape
There will be space in the sides of the fortune cookie, where you can slip in little fortunes. For Valentine's Day, you can put messages in like "I love you, xoxo, Be mine?, and Happy Valentine's Day"
